Cooperative Activities/ Field Trips
More information will be available closer to time for each of these activities so be sure to check the blog postings and calendar for information you need.
• Farm Day at the Joachim Farm – Oct. 15 – Jenny Joachim jljoachim@aol.com or 735-2401
• Public Speaking Days – Nov. 19, Feb. 11, May 13 (Presentation Day). Students may experience public speaking before their peers. They may present a book report, a report, a research paper, a persuasive argument, or any other type of writing they’re working on. Location TBA.
• Presentation Day – May 13. Our last get-together for the school year. Each child presents something they did/ wrote/ created during the school year. They don’t prepare something special for this day but only present what they’ve already done. They may use this as one of their Public Speaking Days this year. • Camp Butter & Egg Day – approximately $10 - $15 per child. Tentatively scheduled for Mar. 11.
