Det. Mike O'Hara has agreed to reschedule our Gun Safety Class for Thursday, April 16 at 9:00. This is the date of our last regularly-scheduled co-op class. (The only two dates after that are for book reports and for Presentation Day. Those dates are both in May.)
The details for this gun safety class are exactly the same as they were before. The preschool class will meet at my house during the time we are in the class with the school-aged kids at the police rifle range on Rifle Range road. See the directions posted previously.
The class should last approx. 2 hours and all children should be dressed appropriately for outside, understanding that the the "gun safety" children may be photographed for the newspaper if a reporter shows up. If children have their own bebe guns (sp?) that they'd like to bring to shoot at the range, Det. O'Hara said that would be quite alright. Some bebe guns will be provided.
