Science Class Oct. 23

Here are my plans for our science co-op on Oct. 23.

• Diffusion experiment on p. 68 of text. We'll prepare the boxes at the beginning of our time and check them at the end of our time.
• Sea Turtle Race in the gym - the activity on p. 57 of text
• Watch a DVD segment of a BBC documentary called Blue Planet which includes sea turtle laying eggs and the hatching.

Please prepare beforehand:

• Yourselves by reading the two activities mentioned above so that you can help direct the children as needed.
• Your children, by telling them what to expect during this time.

DVD Group Etiquette:

• Please no talking or whispering while the DVD is going. Hold questions till the end. Be courteous of others.

We're looking forward to being back with all of you this Thursday. See you then.
