Moms, we spend countless hours trying to get rid of blubber, but not on Thursday! Nope! We are going to pack it on (our kids that is). This will be fun and messy!!! But most importantly I think it will clearly explain why God has provided animals who live in the icy water a layer of blubber under their skin.
I need a head count of how many children will be participating so that I know how many gloves to buy. Please email me at marilyn@troycable.net and let me know if your children are going to participate and how many.
This is what you will need to bring:
1) A Big bowl for ice water.
2) Large container of Vaseline or Shortening-if you have multiple children you may need more than one.
3) It might be nice if a few moms bring a roll of paper towels. I will probably bring several! By the end each child will be a ooey gooey mess!
4) DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN IN GOOD CLOTHING THEY COULD GET STAINED!!!!!!!
